STADIUM HISTORY

Lumen Field opened in 2002 as the home of the Seattle Seahawks (NFL) and Seattle Sounders (MLS). Capacity 68,740 (expandable). Sounders home matches consistently draw 40,000+ — among the highest MLS crowds. Hosted Copa America Centenario 2016 quarter-final.

GETTING THERE & LOCAL CONDITIONS

Located in downtown Seattle, directly served by Link light rail and Sounder commuter rail. Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) is 35 minutes via Link. June-July Seattle weather is mild and dry (18-23°C / 65-73°F) with minimal precipitation in early summer.

Venue betting note

Mild Pacific Northwest climate + intense home crowd (Sounders' '12th Man' is one of the loudest in MLS) create a strong home-side environment. Visiting teams' set-piece concentration has historically suffered here. Consider corner counts as higher-than-average at this venue.
